After completing an internship with UCF Athletics and graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, I started at the Jacksonville Jaguars in August of 2024 where I worked full-time as an in-office as a Graphic Design Intern for Partnerships. During the season, I also worked as a photographer for all Jaguars home game events and took pre-game and on-field photographs of our partnership ads in and around EverBank stadium.
Over the course of my internship, I had the pleasure of working on ninety-five total projects, including the creation of over two hundred and sixty graphics. These projects ranged from email blasts for Hard Rock Bet, Jaguars website and app banner ads, social media stories and filters, mock-ups for partnership proposals, and more.
While I worked on a wide assortment of projects, most could be narrowed down to these three categories: Proposals, Campaigns, and Illustrations. This presentation will highlight one project from each of these categories that was the most successful in terms of design and outward impact.
The first proposal I worked on where I had been granted full creative freedom was for Deep Eddy Vodka, where a total of 13 sponsored assets were presented to the potential sponsor accompanied by 18 unique mock-ups. These included a concourse panel, tailgate booth, spa cabana, co-branded shooter bottles, and more. Deep Eddy Vodka approved the proposed contract, which became the highest-paying liquor sponsorship in Jaguars history, agreeing to pay $300,000 per year over the next three years.
One campaign I had the opportunity to design was the creative for the new "365 for 365" sweepstakes presented by Bud Light. The promotion ran throughout the duration of the 2024 Jacksonville Jaguars season, and could be seen on the Jaguars app and website, promoted on social media, on stationary during pre-games, and on the Jumbotron during home games. The 365 for 365 creative was also sent out to the respective partners, where they were able to advertise Bud Light prices at their locations.
For the 2024 Holiday season, I was approached with creating the Holiday illustrations for the Jaguars' social media. The main illustration features the kicking unit, Cam Little, Ross Matiscik, and Logan Cooke, all decorating a Christmas tree, as well as the Jaguars' mascot, Jaxson de Ville, placing the tree topper. Jaxson de Ville. The three other illustrations feature the logos for the Jaguars' cheerleading team, Jaxson de Ville's account, and for Jaguars UK as ornaments on the tree. Each of these illustrations were inspired by vintage Christmas cards combined with my personal style, and have accrued over 7,000 likes across all Jaguars social media. As a graphic designer with a lifelong passion for illustration, this was a dream project to take on and is one that I am pursuing to do more of.
Throughout my time as an intern, I have worked on 2 projects for the Jaguars website and app branded entertainment refresh for Jaxson de Ville. Alongside Junior Graphic Designer and internship mentor, McKenna Willis, and Digital Media Coordinator, Brooke Hopfe, we collaborated on creating a mobile app game for Jaxson. This first manifested as "Jaxson's Cat Walk", a drag-and-drop dress up game, but after meeting with app developers and familiarizing ourselves with the limitations of the programs they used, this evolved into "Jaxson's Stick the Landing"; a maze game where players pick which path, 1, 2, or 3, will bring Jaxson to the landing zone. This app experience is part of a future project that is still in development, and would be updated throughout the 2025 Jaguars Football season.
The week before graduating from the University of Central Florida, I was approached by one of my professors and was asked where I saw myself in five years. The immediate answer I had to his question was my dream job and ultimate career goal - working for the NFL. Whether it took me five years, ten years, or my whole career, I knew that that's where I wanted my passion to take me. After finishing design school and my time as an intern for UCF, I would reach that ultimate career goal in just three short months after graduating.
I am eternally grateful and forever indebted for all of the experience I've gained, the unforgettable opportunities I've had, and the amazing people I've had the honor of working with as an Intern for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

It was always the Jags!
